Laughter is Color for the Soul

Laughter feeds color to the soul and shines our light out to brighten the world.  If laughter were to be seen in colors, this is how I picture them.  Bright, fun, and happy.  For some people, happiness is the ultimate goal in life.  They make more money so they will be happy.  Buy more things to make themselves happy.  Go on vacation to find happiness.  Search for their one true love so they can be happy.  Sometimes these things work, sometimes they don’t.  One thing that always works is laughter.  A person cannot be laughing and be unhappy.  At least not in that moment.  If you can find a person that makes it easy for you to laugh, that time spent with them, turns on a light inside of you.  That’s why I find it so important to spend time with friends that make it easy to laugh, rather than the ones who always complain. I have been accused of laughing too loudly.  In a restaurant.  During yoga class. While I was taking a swing dancing lesson with my husband. And apparently in my sleep.  After a sleepover, my friend told me that I woke her up in the middle of the night from laughing!

 Laughter in our lives is too important to ignore.  This painting is a reminder to keep that as a priority throughout our day.  May you shine your light out to brighten the world!
