Courage, Original Acrylic Painting 48″x36″

Description

Courage is an original painting that is featured in the artist’s book, “Exposed:  The Naked Truth on Beauty”.  The collection is a deconstruction of where true female beauty comes from.  The paintings are representations of the inner characteristics that truly beautiful women possess, while portraying the physical attributes of what makes a woman, a woman.

Courage is acrylic on canvas, 48″x36″x1″.  Gallery-wrapped with sides finished.  The artist herself, posed for this painting.  While the pose itself was used for proportion purposes, the face was not intended to look like her.  The final piece depicts a second attempt at the face when the first was not up to standard.  Upon seeing the painting, close family and friends commented on the resemblance to the artist, not knowing she was the model for this piece.

This is an original painting that comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.  It is shipped in a plastic sleeve, protected by padding inside a cardboard box.
